As a senior marketer with over
25 years of experience, Alan has a diverse background spanning B2C and B2B business, specialising in brand and campaign strategy. With a notable career at PlayStation, including six years as Marketing Director during its rapid expansion, Alan honed his expertise overseeing UK brand and product portfolios.
Venturing into prop-tech, Alan co-founded Upad before joining Trustpilot UK as VP Brand Marketing. Over 8 years, he forged successful teams across London, Copenhagen, and New York, driving brand, campaigns, content marketing, demand generation and engagement marketing.
Alan was pivotal in Trustpilot’s IPO and spearheaded an award-winning rebrand in 2023. Building on this success, he crafted multi-million dollar brand campaigns across global markets, accelerating Trustpilot’s worldwide growth.
Renowned for fostering purposeful brands and high-performing (and happy) teams, Alan co-founded Flare to delve into creative problem-solving and hands-on project involvement.
Lucy Duncan played a key role in the PlayStation marketing team for 12 years as Product Marketing Manager. During this time Lucy created many award winning campaigns for some of the brand's biggest franchises including Gran Turismo, F1, and SingStar.
Lucy's work was famous for combining the award-winning category disruption with exceptional commercial results.
From creating and mobilising huge online communities to taking social gaming into Glastonbury Festival, Lucy loves to push the boundaries to create fame and impact for her campaigns.
After PlayStation Lucy spent time caring for her son Joe before joining Alan at Flare to rekindle her passion for marketing. As well as campaign development and delivery, Lucy is a skilled at managing agency vendors and running digital campaigns via the Meta and Google ad platforms.
